Our Story

The Journey Behind Shine Rwanda

Shine Rwanda is a non-governmental organization operating in Rwanda, with a mission to transform families and secure their well-being. The organization focuses on training and implementing projects aimed at promoting peace, conflict-free living, combating violence, and fighting poverty within Rwandan society. Shine Rwanda's activities encompass various sectors, with the ultimate goal of impacting the entire Rwandan society and beyond, with a particular emphasis on conflicted families and youth.

The primary challenge addressed by Shine Rwanda is the existing gap among individuals, groups, families, and the community as a whole. Currently, there is no clear pathway for resolving conflicts within families, and previous interventions have not effectively addressed the issue. The consequences of this problem are dire, as the continued absence of solutions will result in the loss of human lives.

Shine Rwanda recognizes that people engage in senseless fights, families become disunited due to poor living conditions, and the prevalence of unwanted pregnancies and school dropouts remains a pressing concern. If these questions remain unanswered and unaddressed, the consequences will be fatal, leading to further loss of life within the community.
